A TURQUOISE FACETED GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE

Blown and carved to have a compressed octagonal profile,
surmounted by a tubular neck with a flat lip, each main side carved
with a raised faceted oval panel, all supported on the flat rectangular
foot.

A TURQUOISE ‘SQUIRREL AND GRAPES’ SNUFF BOTTLE
19th/20th century
Of flattened ovoid form, surmounted by a waisted neck with flat lip
and supported on an oval foot ring, the sides carved in low relief with
a continuous scene of five squirrels eating grapes amid leafy vines, the
domical cover carved with two stylized dragons.
