FOUR CLOISONNÉ ENAMELED METAL VESSELS
Meiji (1868-1912) or Taisho (1912-1926) era, early 20th century
Including a pair of black ground vases decorated with dragons, the
interior neck and base finished in green enamel; a turquoise green vase
in elongated ovoid shape, worked in pleasant colors to present blooming
irises; and the fourth a black ground covered jar, its neck and shoulders
supporting a pair of openwork handles separating two energetic dragons
between floral bands.

Each high-shouldered ovoid body decorated with chrysanthemums,
peonies, bamboo and butterflies in jinbari technique and overed overall

AN UNUSUAL CLOISONNE ENAMEL VASE
Meiji Era (1868-1912)
The ovoid body skilfully decorated with two finely clothed buddhist
sages seated with their books and watching smoke curling upward from
a nearby censer, rendered in multicolored enamels under a jewel and
garland neck, unsigned.

A SILVERED COPPER MODEL A PARROT ON STAND
Meiji era (1868-1912)
The elegant bird captured cleaning one claw, his back feathers
removeable, and perched on a lacquered stand decorated with gold
hiramaki-e kiku on a on a dense nashiji ground, set with silver fittings
and brackets.
