Edo period
The flat well centered by a floral roundel encircled by a wide band of
a similar repeating floral ground, the underside surfaces displaying 784
simpler floral sprigs encircling the recessed base bearing an honorific
Ming dynasty/Muromachi era mark reading Tai Myo Seika Nen Sei in
large standard script (staple restoration and discolored hairline crack).
