Hairpins: Qing dyansty
Including two silver and gilt metal hairpins, each with spring
branches to create a dynamic effect, designed with a butterfly
with jade plaque wings; the third a cloisonné enameled box, its
matching cover inset with an ovoid jade plaque reticulated with
a qilin amid coins, lingzhi, and geometric patterns; the fourth an
openwork gilt silver box, the cover inset with jadeite, tourmaline,
and other stones to form a flower-head design. 954
