The beast seated looking forward with its body slightly turned, carved
with a flowing curled mane across its body incised in fine detail, the
stone a mottled white and black hue.

TWO YELLOW AND RUSSET JADE PENDANTS
Qing dynasty
The first carved as a mythical horned beast, standing on two clawed
feet in a frontal pose, the yellow stone heightened with russet markings
and pierced for suspension, and a coiled dragon, his lithe body tucked
below his open jaws, russet markings.
2 3/4 and 2 1/2in (7 and 6.3cm) high (2).

TWO CARVED JADE ANIMALS
Qing dynasty
The first a recumbent lion curled to face its cub, the swirling mane
carefully incised, the ridged spine ending in a bushy tail, the stone of
even white hue with caramel veining; the second a recumbent horse
playfully turned to meet its raised leg, the stone a mottled pale hue
with russet patches.
