A LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE FAMILLE
ROSE VASE
19th century
The baluster body enamelled with two
quatre-foil cartouches enclosing mythical
landscapes with ethereal ladies and boys, the
waisted neck with tall stiff-leaf lappets, flanked
with stylised dragon handles, with unusual
flower-head bands at the dished mouth and
shoulder, all reserved on a moulded ‘cracked
ice and prunus’ ground.
