TWO GREEN AND RUSSET JADE SNUFF
BOTTLES
19th Century
The first of tall flattened form, the russet skin
incised with writhing chilong, stopper, wood
stand; the second pear-shaped bottle with
beast-mask handles, carved with a deer and
pine on one side, a bamboo spray on the
other side, stopper, woods stand, box. The
largest: 6.7cm (2 5/8in) high (5).

AND A LARGE SHADOW AGATE BOTTLE
Qing Dynasty and later
The turquoise bottle of natural form, with
a matching stopper; the large agate bottle
carved in low relief with a deity holding a
peach, the reverse with Buddhist lions,
stopper, large carved wood stand; together
with a jade bi disc carved with a dragon. The
largest: 8cm (3 1/8in) high (5).

THREE HARDSTONE THUMB RINGS
19th/20th Century
Comprising a white jade ring with an incised
seal script character, wood stand; a white and
russet jade ring carved with a moon amongst
waves; and an agate ring carved in low relief
with a monk, bat and Buddhist lion, box. The
largest: 2.8cm (1 1/8in) diam. (5).
