AN AGATE FIGURE OF A BOY
19th century
The smiling figure finely and cleverly carved from a two-tone stone,
holding a lingzhi spray in one hand and a double gourd in the other,
with a small monkey and squirrel perched nearby, suspended from a
fabric tassel.

The pebble carving with the Daoist boy deity riding a leafy gourd, with
his three-legged toad perched nearby, with a few scattered coins, the
stone of a mottled orange, grey and brown hue, the inclusions cleverly
