the mane and tale finely incised, all carved
from a semi-translucent, white stone with
cloudy-white and extensive russet inclusions,
the foal with traces of calcification, wood
stand.

HARDSTONE PLAQUES
Comprising a jade musical stone carved as
a dragon-carp, the mottled stone of creamy
and pale green hue with brown and russet
inclusions, wood stand; a jadeite musical
stone, carved in shallow relief with archaistic
bird motifs surrounding an auspicious
character, the semi-translucent stone with
green and russet inclusions; and a mottled
green hardstone, probably jade, pendant
plaque, decorated with shallow-relief dragon
motifs, encircling yin yang and shou roundels.
The jadeite plaque 16.2cm (6 5/8in) wide (4).

jade rhyton carved in low relief with chilong

form handle, the lid with a loose ring finial.
