CALCIFIED JADE ‘LOTUS, LYCHEE AND
PEANUT’ PENDANT
18th/19th century
Finely carved as a lotus pod wrapped in its
own leaf, a twisted, leafy branch bearing
lychees to the reverse, with a further
buff-coloured calcified inclusion cleverly
incorporated as a nut, the main stone hue of
an even white hue. 4.8cm (1 7/8in) long
