The baluster form ewer carved in low relief
with a floral meander, the shoulder with a
ruyi-head border, flanked with a loop handle
and upturned spout, both with beast mask
motifs, the tall lid with clouds and borders of
key-fret, wood stand. 19cm (7 1/2in) high (3).

A GREEN JADE HEXAGONAL TEAPOT
17th/18th century
The large vessel carved to each face in low
relief with tablets alternatively enclosing
cursive script passages and landscapes,
flanked with a loop handle and s-shaped
spout, each with a carved beast mask at
the hip, raised on a foot rim with further key-
fret border; with a matched bowenite lid,
19th/20th century. 23.5cm (9 1/4in) wide (2).
