HU-FORM VASE
Qing Dynasty
The pear-shaped vessel modelled after an
Eastern Zhou Dynasty bronze form, carved to
the exterior with taotie masks and archaistic
designs, raised on a flared foot rim and
flanked with loop handles, wood stand.
17.5cm (6 7/8in) high (2).

The tapering vase carved in low relief with
taotie masks, the shoulder with flanged
dragon-form handles, the waisted neck
topped with a domed lid with further flanges
and a flower bud knop, wood stand. 17cm (6
