18th/19th century
The pear-shaped vase modelled after a bronze
vessel, carved in low relief with taotie masks
and lappets, the tapering neck flanked with
tail-form handles, raised on a flaring foot,
wood stand. 16.5cm (6 1/2in) high (2).
