A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF HAYAGRIVA AND CONSORT
19th/20th century
Modelled standing in alidhasana on prostrate bodies on a double
lotus base, grasping his consort in yabyum position and holding a
kapala in one of his primary hands, his other arms radiating around
him, a pair of wings emanating from the shoulders, the primary and
two flanking heads cast in a wrathful expression beneath tall flaming
hair.

19th century
The wrathful deity cast wearing full armour, with wild hair and
billowing ribbons about the ferocious face, striding atop a prostrate
elephant headed demon, the right hand holding a sword, the left with
a floral sprig, all raised on a lotus plinth. 18cm (7 1/8in) high (2).

A SMALL GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF MAHAKALA
Tibet, 18th century
The wrathful deity cast with wild flaming hair and a ferocious visage,
the hands holding a vajra and lasso, wearing a tiger-skin dhoti and
with a snake around the shoulders, stood atop a lotus plinth and
surrounded with a flaming mandorla 9.5cm (3 3/4in) high (2).
