LATE QING DYNASTY wisteria and pink roses below the iron-red inscription and seal
mark, the base with a four-character mark yong qing chang
of archaistic gui form, the body with taotie motif on a leiwen chun (eternal joy and everlasting spring)
ground set between narrow bands of confronting kuilong, Diameter 5⅜ in., 13.7 cm
dragon-form handles applied to either side, the tted cover PROVENANCE
with further dragons on leiwen ground and inscribed meng Acquired in Boston 1940s-1960s, and thence by descent.
jiang dun centered by a square, crenelated knop, all covered $ 6,000-8,000
in a pale yellow glaze, the interior tted with a separate
