openwork panel to the top and two further openwork panels
to the body, the exterior decorated with oral sprays of the
four seasons, bats over peach boughs and further auspicious
emblems in white slip on a blue ground (2)

of globular form, the body and neck painted with bats,
peaches, ruyi heads, and shou characters, the shoulder with
lotus and shou characters, ruyi band below the rim, lappets
crowning the foot, gilt bands bordering each decorative zone,
an iron-red six-character Gaungxu mark on the base

quatrefoil panel enclosing a poetic inscription followed by an
apocryphal Qianlong yuti mark and iron-red seal, surrounded
by oral scrolls and raised on a faux-bois stand, the interior
and back enameled turquoise, the base with an apocryphal
Qianlong mark
