Thus, due to the increased activity of participants in our markets, trading volumes in all
exchange segments in 2022 reached their record high and amounted to 706.79 trillion soums.

At the same time, the total volume of trading on the foreign exchange market increased
1.5 times compared to the indicator of 2021 and amounted to 338.34 trillion soums the volumes
in the money market exceeded last year’s figures by 92.75%, and in the government securities
market by 3 times and reached 270.61 and 97.84 trillion soums, respectively.

The HR strategy implemented at the UZCE and the ongoing personnel policy serves as
an important factor of successful development and is aimed at creating favorable conditions
conducive to effective work for the disclosure of the multilateral potential of employees, their
constant professional development.

In the field of international cooperation UZCE cooperates with leading foreign exchanges
and international financial institutions on the further development of mutually beneficial
cooperation in the development of exchange activities.

In addition, during the reporting period, UZCE also participated in a number of prestigious
international forums and conferences, during which participants were familiarized with the
capabilities of UZCE, the services provided, the range of exchange instruments, the terms of
membership and access to trading, and discussed the possibilities of further cooperation.

In 2022, UZCE continued its activities within the framework of the Development Strategy for
the period 2019-2023, which provides, among other things, further development of the exchange
services provided, expansion of the range of exchange products, customer base by attracting
representatives of insurance and investment business to the UZCE markets, increasing the
competence of the UZCE staff, as well as participants in the exchange markets.

In 2023, UZCE will continue to work in accordance with the strategic directions of development
in order to achieve operational efficiency, increase competitiveness and improve the positions of
UZCE in the domestic and international markets.

As the main participant of the capital market infrastructure, UZCE will pay special attention
to the development of new advanced technologies, further automation of business processes
and exchange trading through the extensive use of modern and reliable information and
communication technologies of its own development based on international standards.

Among the key areas of activity development where our efforts will be focused, we highlight
the direction of professional development of the organization’s employees, including in the field
of corporate governance, improvement of the system of training and succession of personnel,
organization of training of promising young specialists.

In this regard, in 2023, UZCE will continue to work towards improving the financial literacy of
both bidders and the general public using various forms of communication - publications in the
media and social networks, television appearances, seminars and webinars on the development
of the exchange market.

In this direction, we have also planned the opening of a Training center, with the involvement
of highly qualified teachers of leading higher educational institutions, as well as specialists in
the exchange, banking and financial spheres. It is also envisaged that students and interns will
undergo an internship at the UZCE to familiarize themselves with the specifics of exchange
activities, the mechanism of exchange trading, including on the exchange simulator.
