Money market

On the interbank money market, operations are carried out to attract and place funds of
commercial banks of the republic, as well as deposit auctions of the Central Bank to attract
funds from commercial banks.
Money market operations carried out on the UZCE platform are widely popular and allow
market participants to instantly attract and place funds in short-term assets.
As a result, the total volume of trading on the money market by the end of 2022 amounted
to 270.61 trillion soums and exceeded the figures for 2021 (140,39 trillion soums) by 92.76%.

At the same time, trading volumes on the interbank money market in 2022 amounted to
147.82 trillion soums, exceeding the indicators of 2021 by 47.2%.
