USABILITY TESTING REPORT FOR MEDICAL DEVICE.

ABSTRACT
PURPOSE: Comparative study to evaluate the usability of 3 containers (COMOD®, Control grip™, Easy
grip®).
METHODS: 40 participants from 18 to 78 whose 24 participants aged of more than 60, face to face
interviews with a questionnaire after test of pairs of bottles (water / empty). 3 containers are tested
(COMOD®, Control gripTM, Easy grip®).
STUDY CRITERIA: Handling, pumping mechanism, administration into the eyes.
RESULTS: The participants considered the handling of Easy grip® easier or as easy compared with the
two other devices (100% vs COMOD®, 90% vs Control gripTM).
The activation of the pumping mechanism of Easy grip® is easier or as easy compared with the two
other devices (95% vs COMOD®, 90% vs Control gripTM).
The administration into the eyes is easier or as easy with Easy grip® compared with the two other
devices (90% vs COMOD®, 90% vs Control gripTM).
Easy Grip® allows a natural positioning of the fingers thanks to the two tabs
CONCLUSIONS: Easy Grip® allows a natural positioning of the fingers thanks to the two tabs com-
pared to handling of Easy Grip® is easier pr as easy compared to COMOD® and Control Grip™.
