250 miles north of Khartoum, Sudan. Jebel Barkal is a primary archaeological
site of the Cush kingdom.

Jebel Barkal has more than 20 buildings, including at least 13 temples, some
chapels and at least two palaces. Pictured are some carvings from one of the
