Step Five:
Use the Zoom tool (Z) to zoom in on her eyes, and then press D to make sure your Foreground color is set to white. Get the Brush tool (B) from the
Toolbar, then choose a small-to-medium-sized, soft, round brush from the Brush Picker up in the Options Bar (as shown here). Now, simply start painting
over the inside of the frame on the right, and it reveals the version of her eye without the glasses on (as seen here). What you’re doing is revealing the top
layer, but just where you want it. Don’t erase all the way to the edges—we’ll need a hard-edged brush for that, so stop short of the edges for now (like you
see here). The reason we’re using a soft-edged brush to start with is because we want to smoothly blend the edges near her eyes from the no-glasses image
with the rest of her face from the glasses image. That soft edge works wonderfully for that, creating a nice, smooth blend.
