Media Size: an option to define the media size. You may change
the unit under RIP Setup>Misc Tab. EagleRIP offers A5, B5, A4,
B4, etc. for you to choose from the dropdown list. If you want to
customize the media size, you need to first select “Custom” in the
Media Size dropdown list and then enter the values you want in
the Width and Height edit box respectively. You may enter any
decimal for more accurate media size. If you the media size you
want to customize is close to a media size in the dropdown list, for
example A4, you may select first “A4” in the dropdown list, then
select “Custom”, and then fine-tune the width and height for
accurate result.
Copies: enter the number of copy you want to have. The valid
value ranges from 1 to 9999.
Advanced
Set the advanced parameters.
Connect Mode
o Serial Mode: When Serial Mode is checked, the Exposure
Parameter of the device will be controlled by Serial Mode.
o Cassette: This option allows you to select the cassette to feed
media. Select the cassette you need from the dropdown list.
There are two choices: Cass1 and Cass2. This parameter will
be only be activated when Serial Mode is checked.
o Exposure: Selecting the exposure value to use of the current
device. The valid value ranges from 1 to 50. This parameter
will be only be activated when Serial Mode is checked.
o Film Type: Selecting the film type to use of the current
device. The valid value ranges from type 1 to type 5. This
parameter will be only be activated when Serial Mode is
checked.
o Film Thickness: Selecting the film thickness to use of the
current device. The valid value ranges from 1 to 99. The unit is
0.01mm. This parameter will be only be activated when Serial
Mode is checked.
