Opening little by little the pages of the history book of the Congregation,
from September the 8th of the year 1920, one could find special traces
regarding the foundation of a small autochthon Congregation – “The
Daughters of Mary Immaculate” (Les Filles de Marie Immaculee) - on the
land called Phu-Xuan. Along the living path of life of a hundred years,
the presence of The Daughters of Mary Immaculate have known various
experiences: trials, silence, transformations... But the characteristics
the most outstanding of the Daughters of Mary Immaculate have been
perseverance and faithfulness. The long strip of land of the Central of
Viet-nam is like a stern mother who, although bearing double heavy loads
of historical troubles and natural catastrophes, always extends her arms
to protect her children. It was on this precious piece of land that the
Congregation has lived, has been present, lost but has been found, thanks
to the mysterious Providence of our living Lord, God of Love. Taking a
reflective look at some significant events will help us find the real face of
the Congregation through these 100 years, from the past to the present, in
order to figure out the right direction to take regarding the Congregation’s
                            future.
