of Haiphong on 5/25/12005). Together with volunteers, the Kim Lomg Charity
Clinic Sisters pay visits to families having HIV patients, motivate them, and give
complete care to HIV patients of those families, including the children diagnosed
with it. The Sisters also rapidly take care of dying patients, their last moments on
earth, even the formality of wrapping the corpse in a shroud ... Furthermore, they
organize games and other playful activities for the children of families with HIV,
even discussions to help people exchange ideas and ask questions on HIV even
at the national level...

Communities Founded Outside the Archdiocese of Hue

Due to the devastating wars on 1945-1949, 1954, 1968, 1972, 1975 the Congregtion
had to dissolve 42 Community of Service in Thua Thien, Hue, Quang Tri as well
as Quang Binh. However, God’s Providence worked marvelously. Leaving posts
of service behind due to migration, the Sisters had the opportunity to serve
other dioceses of Viet-Nam Church outside the archdioceses of Hue. Currently,
the Congregation has 458 sisters, and most of them have been serving in 52
communities present in 11 dioceses in Viet-Nam - Hue, Da-Nang, Kontum, Ban
Me Thuot, Nha Trang, Saigon, Da Lat, Xuan Loc, Ba Ria, Vinh, Ha Noi, and two
dioceses abroad, tai Hoa Ky : Richmond and Washington DC.
The Congregation is deeply gratefull to God for His merciful Love and to Mary
Immaculate for Her motherly care. Under their mysterious and providential
guidance, the Congregation remains faithful to their Charism and Mission from
its tottering steps to these days and time, and forever.
One Hundred Year is long enough to take a careful look at all the blessings that
our merciful Lord and His Mother flow down upon their Daughters in Phu Xuan.
One Hundred Year is a measuring ruler to test the faithfulness of the “Daughters”
and their confidence in God and Mother Mary’s loving hands.
Significant events have passed, with the ups and downs of all kinds of degrees and
tonalities causing by sufferings or happiness, but all have become living substance
for the “Daughters” who have, who are, and who will committ themselves for their
Congregation; substance of love, of faithfulness, and of endurance in difficulties
as well as in happiness, in order to advance in a stronger and firmer Congregation
for the next 100 years ahead.
