LNG dominance
The US is set to have the world’s largest LNG export capacity by the end of
2022, following the start-ups of Sabine Pass Train 6 and Calcasieu Pass.
Curtailment ends
The Canadian province of Alberta will allow its oil production curtailment
policy to expire on December 31.
Argos arrives
BP’s Argos platform, which will be used for the Mad Dog 2 project, has
arrived at its final location in the US Gulf of Mexico.
Permian net zero
ExxonMobil has announced that it will target net-zero greenhouse gas
emissions from its operated assets in the US’ Permian Basin by 2030.
