Elusive recovery
Alberta’s oil output remains below what it was prior to the COVID-19
pandemic and the path forward looks increasingly challenging for producers.
Permian gas options
The Permian Basin does not need as much gas pipeline capacity as previously
anticipated, but deliveries to Mexico may continue to rise.
Restoring operations
Oil and gas production was coming back online in the US Gulf of Mexico
this week following the latest weather-related disruptions.
Bottoming out
Diamondback Energy’s third-quarter production fell slightly compared with
the second quarter to 287,300 boepd, but is now expected to rise slightly.
