                                                                     Cheryl Lockett cultivates, curate and presents an
                                                                     eclectic vision of sound that appeals to a diverse
                                                                     listening audience.  The roots music that exempli-
                                                                     fies her vocal style is a fusion of modern jazz, vin-
                                                                     tage blues, classic rock, Afro-Latin and Native
                                                                     American rhythms, with minor key tonality. Her
                                                                     riveting voice and warm style promises any listener
                                                                     an aesthetically pleasing and cohesive composition
                                                                     of music that flows like silk.

                                                                     Join us in the Clubhouse as Cheryl takes us for a
                                                                     walk down memory lane with some of the biggest
                                                                     hits of all time.  She will be accompanied by jazz
                                                                     guitarist Adam Durbin.
                                                                     Route 66, all or nothing at all,  Summertime, All of
                                                                     Me, Autumn Leaves, Moondance, Sunny, Peel Me A
                                                                     Grape, Blue Bossa, Girl from Ipanema, Fever and
                                                                     Stormy Monday and many more.

         We are going to have a little different sort of contest.  This contact you can do in bed, or in the shower or
         while having dinner….Write a Limerick  A Limerick is basically 5 lines of goofy, sad, meaningful, or serious
         poetry. Below are characteristics and samples of Lymericks.
         Winner will get a $30 gift card to Rite Aid, runner up will get a $15 gift card.  Your works are due the  last Fri-
         day of October and results will be posted in the clubhouse.  Enter as many limericks as you want. Be sure
         your name and contact is on each page.  There will be a deposit box by the computer   If there are enough
         submittals, we will actually produce a booklet of your works...you will be published, albeit small.
