What is the key? It’s in repentance, but NOT like it’s usually

taught. Repentance is preached in the law. Repent, or God will judge

you! Repent, you sinner, or you may not even go to heaven!

Do you realize you can’t backslide under the grace of the gospel

of the New Covenant in the blood of Jesus? There is nothing for us
to backslide from. Why would we want to backslide from God’s

unconditional love? How about from his grace, mercy and forgiveness?

People only ‘backslide’ from ungodly, legalistic preaching!

The most powerful passage on repentance was penned by Paul in

II Timothy 2:25-26: “In meekness instructing those who oppose them-

selves; so God will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the

TRUTH; and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the

devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”

Satan keeps us captive, and ignorant of the gospel, if we’re under
the law (II Cor 4:4). This includes any other religion, or any theology

or wisdom of man that devises plans for self-betterment, and that

shine the spotlight on us.

The way we beat Satan is by believing and living the gospel. We
are told that if we live in truth, ‘Satan cannot touch us’ (I John 5:18). It

is the same way we live in prosperity and health (3 John 2). But we

need to read the next verse (3 John 3): ‘we do so when the truth of

God is in us, and we walk in that truth.’
