law short-circuits our ability to truly worship God because it

condemns us and makes us feel like we don’t qualify with God. How

do you truly worship someone you think is looking down on you,
judging you and is probably angry at you?

In the gospel, life becomes one of

spontaneous, continuous worship.

There is a dividing line in the sand. John 1:17 says, “For the law
was given by Moses, but (the gospel of) grace and truth came by

Jesus Christ.” — “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new

creation. Old (Covenant) things have passed away, behold, ALL things

have become new” (II Cor 5:17).

We are ‘new creations.’ This means we are a new being
altogether. We’re like a new species — like a ‘GodMan.’ We are no

longer simply human. This is true of all Christian believers, but we

can only truly see this as reality in the gospel.

Program or Process?

Most churches preach PROGRAMS of God. Does your church

do this? A ‘program’ is all the things you should and shouldn’t do, to

be right with God.
