The way Satan beats us is if we believe, embrace and live life in

some form of law, rules, regulations, precepts or principles. We will

always find ourselves lacking and defeated in some way.

To the degree you are living under any of the Old Covenant law,

you are captive to the devil. It’s his playground, and you shouldn’t be
playing in his playground. REPENT! Jesus says to forsake all other

beliefs and to only believe his gospel. Believe the gospel and see your

Christian life come alive! It’s the power of God!

Very practically, what happens is that you fall in love with God so
much that your Christian life is totally revitalized and reformed (Heb

9:10). You enter into a new PARADIGM with God, and you gradually

start living the Christian life better by accident than you ever did on

purpose under any type of religious system with the spotlight on you.

With the spotlight on Jesus, life just flows easier and better. In

the gospel of Jesus, life is easier and his burden is light.

You learn to TRUST God in your life — independent of things

that happen to you, — or that don’t happen to you that you want to

happen. You realize that the sovereignty of God is more than just

some theology.

The gospel allows God to be God, and allows you to be you. And

in this reality, you discover a unity that can only be experienced in the

gospel: “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.”
