        Smoking:  Bonnyton House is completely a no-smoking zone. Residents that wish to smoke must do so outside.
        A member of staff will accompany you if required at a suitable time.



        Alcohol:  You may drink alcohol as you wish if your medical condition allows. It may be kept in your room or if
        appropriate by the staff and given to you on request.


        Visitors:  The Home has an open visiting policy. Your visitors are welcome at any time. If there are any times
        you do not wish to have a visitor then please advise our staff. Visitors should make themselves known on arrival
        so that staff are aware of who is in the building should an emergency arise and so that the can be offered a cup of
        tea or coffee.



        Meals:  All meals are prepared on the premises and we aim to provide a wide and varied diet that will suit all
        needs. Within the diet we will provide 5 daily portions of fruit and vegetables. Prior to admission we will discuss
        all your dietary requirements and if agreeable your weight will be taken as part of your care plan and will be
        monitored on a regular basis.

        Breakfast is served normally between 8.30am and 10.00am with a wide selection available; you will be asked
        your preferences. Lunch is served at 12.30pm, again the menu is posted on the notice board earlier in the day and
        a choice is always available. Tea is served at 5.00pm. Midmorning, mid-afternoon and evening drinks are served
        on a daily basis. Hot and cold drinks and snacks are available 24 hours per day. If you are going to be out or late
        back for a meal, we can make arrangements to suit you.
