require repairs to spectacles the staff can arrange for this at the local optician. The optician may charge you for
this service. You may choose to visit the optician if you wish.

Dental Services: You may visit your own dentist or request to have a visit from the Domiciliary dentist. The
dentist will advise any charges to you.

        physiotherapy if you wish.

GP Services: The Local Health Centre provides medical care to all the residents. A GP visits the home on an as
and when required basis but normally you would be visited by the GP within a week of your admission. If you
require to see a doctor outwith the normal visiting time the Staff will arrange a visit. G-Docs provide an out of

                                                                              rd
Church Service: The local churches in Ellon visit the home on the 1 and 3 Friday of every month in the
mornings. You are all welcome to attend and your visitors are welcome to join you. If you wish staff can contact
your own church to arrange a visit.

Laundry: It is helpful if you can arrange for your clothing to be clearly marked prior to your admission to the
Home. If this is not possible the staff can arrange this for you and arrange for name tapes to be made. You will be
advised of the cost of these. All laundry except dry-cleaning is done on the premises. Any dry-cleaning or other
special arrangements will be charged to you. It is advisable to ensure that all your clothing is machine washable.
Clothing sent to the laundry one day is usually returned next day. If this does not happen please advise the staff
        as soon as possible.

Pets: You may wish to discuss keeping your pet with the manager. The needs and rights of the other residents
have to be taken into consideration and also the care of the animal if you become unable to care for it yourself.
Your visitors may bring pets into the Home after first discussing this with the manager.
