DARE TO BE A.L.I.V.E. - DON’T BE A D.A.S.H.
I was born into this world - I have no idea when I am going to leave it,
(not for a very long time I hope). The date of my birth and the date of
death will Not de ne me. However, my life will be de ned by the dash
between those dates.
That dash is a very powerful thing; it’s on your birth certi cate, your
license and your death certi cate. I will attempt to ll this virtual “dash
of life” with the same things that I have tried to ll my personal dash
with. Hope, faith, humor, inspiration and love!
Most people look at someone's grave stone and sees the dash between the
two dates and try to gure out his Age. Most people do not see the dash as
his Life, but only as his time of Death - Most people overlook the essence of
the person. The dash represents all the days you'll spend on earth and you
never know how long your dash will be, so make every day count.
For most of us, the two most important days in life are the Birth Date and the
Death Date . But what is often overlooked is the “insigni cant” Dash that
separates the two.
The Dash symbolizes the life lived, represents the worth of our existence on
earth and determines the itinerary for the life to come.
Don't waste your dash. Take a minute, take an inventory. Where are you in
life? Are you happy or are you ready for a change. What are you going to do
about it – It’s up to you to make the most of the time you have - Step up,
step out, and get on with it
• Dependent / Desperate
