DARE TO BE A.L.I.V.E. - DON’T BE A D.A.S.H.
Imagine that your goal is to walk a thousand miles. Thinking about taking a
thousand mile walk makes it seem impossible and may create feelings of
hopelessness and a sense of being overwhelmed. You may conclude, “It is
impossible to walk a thousand miles” You will probably feel even worse if you
think “I must walk a thousand miles” while knowing that you are not able to
do so.
On the other hand, taking several one mile walks seems possible and does
not encourage self-defeating thoughts and feelings. Eventually, your one
mile walks can add up to a thousand miles.
ALIVE CODE Health & Wellness Coaching helps you to develop realistic
goals and to nd the energy to meet them. Moreover, it shows you how to
accept yourself even if you fall short of your goals. You choose your goals, but
you are not your success or failure to accomplish them.

E = Every human is error prone- including you!
The rst step in problem solving is to clearly de ne the problem. ALIVE
CODE suggests that you de ne the problem in a way that you “own” it.
Owning the problem means taking responsibility and admitting that the
problem is yours.
Other people or a dif cult situation may be a part of the problem, but
owning the problem means acknowledging that your feelings, thoughts,
and actions make you upset about a “bad” situation. Once you acknowledge
that, you have a better chance of resolving the situation because you have
some power to control your attitudes, feelings and behaviors.
