KARS FOR I’d like to start off by thanking Jim Garbaczewski and Carl Pomponio

of the Hot Wheels Newsletter, for graciously allowing myself and
Kids our charitable cause, “Kars for Kids”, to be afforded valuable space
in their awesome newsletter. I would also like to thank them for
their hard work and dedication to the Hot Wheels universe.
If you have not already seen, I have started a charity, called, “Kars
for Kids”, to reach out to children that have been hospitalized for a
variety of illnesses. It is just one small step in trying, for a moment,
to take the innocent away from their suffering and bring a smile to
their faces, if only for a minute or two.
I would like to take this time to thank some generous donators by name, that have helped us already hand out over 150 cars to children
in their hospital rooms. Gerald Cardello of Pittsburgh, PA and August J. Kowalski of Franklin Park, IL. Their generous donations cannot be
praised enough. We have also locally collected a few cars. By share luck and coincidence, I was also the lucky recipient of a contest held
by another magazine dedicated to Hot Wheels, and all cars were donated to the charity. We are also working to send the first check to St.
Jude’s Children Hospital. We are hoping to soon make another trip to a hospital.
In closing I would like to once again, thank all the above, for without their help, none of it would be possible. We are continuing our
efforts to bring a lot more smiles to more suffering children and invite all of you to see it in your hearts to donate as much as you can. We
accept NIP and loose cars in good condition. As was stated in earlier article; any cars donated that are worth more than face values will be
auctioned to the highest bidders and all monies donated to the cause. I would also ask those, who have been collecting for many years,
to think about donating all or at least a part of your collection, when you choose to either pass it on or sell. I sometimes know our children,
and grandchildren don’t always share our collecting passion. Mine come to mind…LOL. So maybe think about donating your collection.
