consider pre-ordering. You don’t want to come up empty handed. This is
also a great way to own a Night Stalker creation! Sales of the Charity car
generated $13,500.00. We also added another $2,280.00 from the sale of
past event Charity cars.
Raffle ticket sales were brisk with the hope of winning one of the seven
awesome prizes that were drawn during the Grand Finale. Four of the
prizes were donated by Collectors Events Unlimited. They were complete
sets of Button Bingo/charity code three cars from the 31st Annual Con-
vention, the 17th Annual Collectors Nationals as well as a set of this year’s
Button Bingo and Charity event cars. The other three prizes were gra-
ciously donated by Mattel’s Hot Wheels Design team. These prizes were
a 2017 Factory Sealed Master Set, a 2017 Super Treasure Hunt set which
included all 15 supers presented in an accompanying display case and
a complete 2007 HWC Collectors.com twelve car series 6 set plus metal
carrying case. The 7th prize was also donated by Collectors Events Unlim-
ited and it was for guessing the number of wheels in the jar; the prize for
this raffle were two very limited (under 30 pieces) prior event baggie cars;
a Custom Otto in pink and a ’36 Ford Coupe in chrome illusion. Raffle
ticket sales contributed $6770.00 toward the charity total.
Another one of our events is the Charity Auction that which was held on
Friday evening. If you missed it, you regrettably missed an exciting time
with many unique, one-of-a-kind items up for auction. The auction is live
with no reserve and your bidder card is your ticket to securing a rare or
unusual piece while helping raise funds for charity. This year’s donations

was great seeing old friends and meeting the many new collectors that dollars to the bottom line. Thanks to Collectors Events Unlimited for the
attended this event as well as associating with the diehard collectors that
are so important to this hobby. It appears that most everyone had a great
time and will be looking forward to the next event.
Our staff had the honor of donating time and effort to raise money for the
18st Annual Collectors Nationals charity, which benefited the Children’s
Miracle Network Hospitals.
There are seven main functions that generate money for our charity and
this year’s participation was overwhelming. I would have to say that most
of us participated in at least one of these activities. It is important to
note that the dollars we collect all go directly to the charity and nowhere
else. Please continue to support our Charity events because it is through
your participation that we as a community of collectors can continue our
history of goodwill. We all know the cars received for playing our Charity
games are very limited low-run pieces that enhance their collectability.
The only way to get them is by participating in the events at the Nation-
als.
Our Charity fundraising car for this event was the ’62 Chevy Corvette
produced by Chris Walker aka Night Stalker. When a registrant received
their Nationals packet the option to pre-order the Charity car was offered.
So many people took advantage of this option that only a very few
remained for sale at the event itself and all 450 pieces quickly sold out!
The car came in a metallic black with gold deco along with a Children’s
Miracle Network logo and an 18th Nationals logo as well. It also sported
chrome deep dish Real Riders. It was packaged in a numbered acrylic
