P. 4
is your house ready?
THINKING OF SELLING ?
HOW EASY IS IT FOR PEOPLE TO WALK AROUND AND
LOOK AT THE INTERIOR OF YOUR HOUSE?
We all live different lives and style our homes completely differently – but to be
SALE ready, the key is less is more. It’s a good idea to start packing up and boxing
books, personal items, photos and excess furniture.
Have you still got spare rooms full of your belongings? Try and clear out the rooms
in the home to show their true size.
This way it makes the Buyer see the home as “ready to live in”. They can imagine
living there and start to decide where to put all their belongings.
FLOW is a good word here. Making it seamless with re-positioning furniture so the
home has a good sense of flow. Granted it might not be what you consider
“functional” but again this is a no cost way to set your home up so its ready for
sale. You want to give the buyer the feeling of ease walking around and “living” in
your house.
There’s a reason Home Staging exists and that is because it works. Bring your inner
Interior designer out and watch a few videos of Marie Kondo’s organizing tips and
tricks.
