(No.43) “Iti pi so bhagavā arahaṃ sammāsambuddho

Vijjācaraṇasampanno sugato lokavidū anuttaro

Anuttaro purisadammasārathi satthā devamanussānaṃ
Buddho bhagavā ‘ ti”

English Translation:

“This is / he / the Fortunate One / the Holy One / the Fully Self-enlightened one /
The perfect in knowledge and conduct / the Well-gone / the world knower /

The incomparable leader of men to be tamed / the Teacher / of gods and men /

The Awakened One / the Fortunate One / He is.”
Romanized Pāli:

[46] “Svakkhāto bhagavatā dhammo

Sandiṭṭhiko akāliko
Ehipassiko opanayiko paccattaṃ

Veditabbo viññūhī ‘ ti”

English Translation:

“Well-proclaimed / by the Fortunate One / is the Dhamma /

Bearing on the present life / not involving time /
Inviting all to come and see / leading onward / for himself /

To be understood / by every wise man / that is /”

Ujupaṭipanno bhagavato sāvakasaṅgho,
