The Human Resources Department highlights the County’s Internship Program at local college fairs.
Students learned about the Internship Program and current internship opportunities.

The Human Resources Department (HRD) attended the California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB),
and Monterey Peninsula College (MPC) Internship Fair to promote the County’s Internship Program. Students
learned about the program and the opportunity to discuss current internship opportunities.

On February 22 , HRD staff attended the CSUMB Spring Internship and Career Fair where they had the
opportunity to meet with college students to discuss career and internship opportunities. HR staff engaged
with over 60 students during this event and encouraged students to explore the internship and careers with
the County of Monterey. Students were excited to learn more about County career and internship
