Through the history of mankind, the Jewish people have always been a persecuted people.
During the days following Christ, the Jews, as well as Christians, were the target of Roman
persecution. During the next three centuries (300–600 C.E.) a new pattern of
institutionalized discrimination against Jews occurred: Jews were forbidden to marry
Christians (399 C.E.), were prohibited from holding positions in government (439 C.E.) and
were prevented from appearing as witnesses against Christians in court (531 C.E.). Martin Luther, the
founder of the 16th century Reformation and Protestantism, wrote a pamphlet in 1545 entitled The
Jews and Their Lies, claiming that Jews thirsted for Christian blood and urging the slaying of the Jews.
The Nazis reprinted it in 1935. Then under Hitler’s rule of Germany, over 6 million Jewish people, men,
women, children, infants, were slaughtered for the sole reason of their Jewish origin.

Universal hatred of Jews cannot be explained except by the fact that they are God’s chosen people and
Satan hates them. Through them, all the nations of the world receive blessings, but Satan wants to steal
and destroy the nations, especially Israel. As we continue our study, we will see that the future revolves
around this tiny nation and this people called the Jews. Let see how God plans to use them in the
               future…

4.3 Israel as Center of Future Prophecy

The land of Israel is the most important location on our planet. Why is that?

                         1. Israel is the strategic geographic center of three continents. Ezekiel 5:5 says “See, I have
set three in the midst of the nations”. Israel is often called the “navel of the earth.”

               2. Israel if the land where the majority of the prophets and apostles lived, and from which came the
Word of God. It is the revelation center of the world.
