As a single person, use your time and opportunities wisely to prepare yourself to follow God’s
leading in your life. Commit your life to God. Learn how to allow the Holy Spirit to control your
life. Live in spiritual victory. Surround yourself with mature Christian people. Learn to know many
people of the opposite sex and how to properly relate to them. Then follow Godly principles in
learning to know the person who interests you. Make wise decisions based on facts and the
counsel of Godly people. Follow God’s will. Pray and ask Him to lead you.

As a Christian leader, seek to teach these principles to singles and council them in following these principles
in their search for a mate.
