nd
6. How many copies or partial copies of the Bible from ancient times do we possess back to the 2
century?

8. What is the key WORD when it comes to which books were a part of the canon?
2.5 Let’s Personalize this Lesson…
When you get in your car or a bus, you TRUST that the vehicle will take you safely to your
destination, right? You can look at the car or bus and say, “I think that vehicle will get me
there” but never get into the vehicle. You’d never arrive at your destination. When you
really TRUST the vehicle, you actually climb inside and demonstrate your trust by traveling
in it.
The same is true of God’s Word. You can trust His Word as reliable. But the proof is really if you take
what is in the Bible and make it a part of your life. You apply His Word to your thoughts, actions, and
practice. That is real trust. If I watched you live a day of your life and heard what you say to others,
would I see God’s Word coming out of your life?
