BARTENDER: (makes drink) You know, Mr. .Bargello, sir, I’ve made
so many trips to exotic places to get ingredients for the members’
drinks that I’ve developed a taste for exploring. You know what I
mean, don’t you, sir?

BARGELLO: Yeah, yeah, I know, all right. (takes drink, chokes) Agh!
How can Ericson drink this stuff? It’s terrible!

BARTENDER: Well, I was wondering, sir, couldn’t I become an
explorer, too?

BARGELLO: You? Ha-ha-ha!

BARTENDER: No, seriously. I’m willing to start at the bottom. I’ll
take any assignment, no matter how difficult or dangerous. Honestly!

BARGELLO: You will, eh? Well, I do know a scientist who is
looking for someone to lead a very interesting expedition. There’s no
telling what you’ll run into on this one. I’d do it myself, but I happen
to be all booked up at present. If you think you can handle it—

BARTENDER: Oh, yes, yes! Tell me where to find this scientist!

BARGELLO: Just go over to Bellevue and ask for Dr. Pesky.

BARTENDER: Oh boy, you bet I will! (leaves bar) Gee, thanks, Mr.
Bargello. What a break! I never dreamed it would be possible! (exits)

BARGELLO: (holds sides) Possible? Possible? Oh, ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
Possible!
