Fraxinella
But when she finally matured, something even worse happened.
The roses had a sweet and dainty aroma, a delicate perfume.
Fraxinella, despite her best efforts to suppress it, began to emit a very
pungent odor. Her neighbors wrinkled their noses. They did not like
it at all. They were afraid it would scare away the bees who came
every spring to pollinate the rose population. So the bushes tried to
crowd her out, to block her sunlight and make her wither away. But
Fraxinella was strong, and managed to survive in their shade.
