The Cuttlefish Man
That shocked me! I found the courage to speak:
“You mean you’re a man—not some kind of freak?”
He replied, “Child, believe this if you can:
I am partly mollusk and partly man.
A scientist comprised the human part;
A man who thought himself extremely smart.
The cuttlefish? Just ran out of luck—
Or too damned stupid to know when to duck!”
