“Now you can walk,” he rumbled through his beard
No, his tentacles—it was really weird!
“So, get moving: we haven’t far to go;
Come on, I’ll tell you what you need to know.”
He gave me a shove that rattled my brain,
And started me stumbling next to the drain,
Down a narrow path I barely could see,
With the rough curving wall scraping my knee.
