As he thus progressed across the unfamiliar terrain, Levi did detect
small scuttling and scampering noises indicative of game in flight.
“Am I giving myself away?” he wondered, and tried to be even
more inconspicuous. Suddenly a twig snapped behind him and he
caught a whiff of something very unpleasant: coyote!
