Meanwhile, Billy Bob Cat had struck out into unfamiliar territory,
        driven by his unappeased appetite. He crossed the tracks and wide
        boulevard separating his turf from the rest of the world, advancing
        less cautiously than would a cat with full belly. After scurrying down
        the gutter of a street busy with human foot and vehicular traffic, he
        stopped  at  the  entrance  to  a  dark  narrow  alley.  An  entrancing
        mélange of aromas issued forth, beckoning the famished feline.
          Billy  Bob  barely  paused  before  advancing  into  the  exotic
        passageway.
