Then he leapt into the can again and came out with a clump of
slimy squid and octopus tentacles and entrails. Delicious! A bit
chewy, though—but he had no time for the finer points of
mastication: down the hatch!
He went back for more, extricating shrimp veins and eel bladders,
sea cucumber skins and oyster integuments. Intoxicated by the rich
bouquet of seafood exudations, he grabbed and gulped and
swallowed indiscriminately.
