Spats sidestepped Eddie’s frontal assault and dealt the crazed calico
a nasty blow across the shanks with one huge front paw. Eddie
sprawled against a fence, howling in pain. Before he could recover,
the larger cat was on top of him, gripping his neck in huge jaws and
sinking sharp claws into Eddie’s back.
